Sandustry Flux vs Fluxite: Correct Name & Quick Guide

Quick Answer

If you searched for Sandustry Flux, the current official resource name is Fluxite. The Hooded Horse official Wiki lists Fluxite as the material found underground and generated later with a Flux Emanator; it does not list a separate material named Flux.

Choose the guide that matches your question:

• How to get and use Fluxite — resource locations, purpose, and the verified production chain.
• How to set up the Flux Emanator — machine input, placement, output space, and troubleshooting.

Is Flux Different from Fluxite?

Not in the current official material list. “Flux” is a convenient shorthand and a common search phrase, while Fluxite is the name used by the game documentation.

Fluxite has two verified acquisition paths:

1. Mine the small deposits that generate naturally underground.
2. Produce it later through the Voidbloom and Flux Emanator chain.

The high-level production chain is:

Void Petal + Redsand → Voidbloom → Flux Emanator → Fluxite

For the official quantities and material behavior, continue to the Fluxite resource guide. For construction steps, go directly to the Flux Emanator machine guide.
